Masterhouse Media was founded in 1998 by Joel Weinmaster as
an internet consulting firm. In 1999, Masterhouse launched
Clubvibes.com, one of the web's premier nightlife communities
that exploded on to the web as a pioneer in social media and nightlife marketing services. Under the
Clubvibes brand, Joel developed marketing plans for many
large brands including the successful launch of Hpnotiq in
the BC market in 2005. Joel was one of the founding members
of the Vancouver Nightlife Awards in 2004. With humble
beginnings the show grew to a 1000+ attendance at the Commodore Ballroom in 2012.
Joel is still the Executive Director of this event. In October
2012, Clubvibes.com and the awards show was sold to MyZone Media, owners of Clubzone.com
where Masterhouse consults in product and brand strategy with
Joel serving as Chief Technology Officer.
